The 2010 Historic Preservation Partnership Conference will take place on the campus of Northern Arizona University at the du Bois Center. Located on the southern part of the campus, the du Bois Center offers ample meeting space and banquet facilities to accommodate the growing needs of the HP Conference. In keeping with our theme and expectations of increasing educational outreach about all aspects of historic preservation in Arizona, the committee found this environment to achieve our growing community’s objectives. As we reach out to new segments of the Historic Preservation market and family, we strive to maintain long-term sustainability of the conference by reducing costs and increasing participation while generating outstanding program content with new and unique speakers, nationally-recognized keynote speakers and experts, and timely sessions. It is the committee’s hope that highly-targeted sessions presented in an environment that emphasizes higher education will provide insights to grow businesses and improve networking options for those who support Historic Preservation in both the public and private sector. As our global markets and landscapes change, it is our job to lead the call to historic preservation using all of our resources in the most efficient and responsible manner possible. We hope you will enjoy the du Bois Center as our home for the 2010 Historic Preservation Conference on the beautiful NAU campus.
